A complete printing and die-cutting line in Rochechouart (France)

<< Back to Breaking News

In accordance with its dynamic global investment policy for France and to strengthen its position as the leader of the French corrugated board market, DS Smith has invested in a complete packaging manufacturing line including a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 offset press and a Bobst Expercut 106 PER die-cutter. Installed on the Rochechouart site in Haute-Vienne in central France, the new line offers a considerable competitive advantage for the positioning of its consumer business as a leading supplier of premium packaging.

DS Smith Packaging France’s consumer business specialises in the design and manufacture of cardboard consumer packaging for the Mass Consumption Products & Industry, Wine & Spirits, Perfume & Cosmetics markets.
Its expertise in structural design and its know-how in the field of printing and glossing mean that it can offer customised packaging to build a strong brand identity and provide maximum protection of products. Packaging is an integral part of brand image and a powerful lever to strengthen position and differentiation in increasingly competitive markets.
This major investment enables more and more advanced techniques to be used and offers complementarity with other offset presses on the production site, especially with regard to the diversity of printing formats. DS Smith can thus continue to respond to customer demand by targeting excellence.
